What this policy covers
This policy applies to information you give us through this website, our online forms, phone calls, text messages, and emails. It describes our practices as an independent insurance agency. The insurance carriers we work with have their own privacy notices that apply to the policies they issue and the files they maintain.
What we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us so we can answer your questions and place or service coverage. That includes name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and details about the risk you want to cover, such as home, vehicle, driver, business, or non-renewal notice information. We also collect standard web log and analytics data, like your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site, through normal website operation. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to you, prepare and shop coverage, place or renew policies, service policies and claims, send policy-related messages, and keep the records a California-licensed agency is required to maintain. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to your insurance without your permission.
SMS and phone numbers
If you provide a mobile number, we may call or text you about your quote, policy, or service request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages; reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. We keep consent records because carrier and federal rules require it. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Our full messaging terms are on the Terms page.
Who we share information with
We share information only when necessary to serve you. That includes insurance carriers, wholesale brokers, premium finance companies, payment processors, and the CRM and website vendors that help us run our office. Each of these parties is contractually required to keep your information confidential and to use it only for the work we ask them to do. We may also share information when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to respond to a request from a regulator or law enforcement agency. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
How we store and protect information
We keep your information in secure, access-controlled systems and train our staff to handle it carefully. We keep records for as long as needed to service your policies and meet California insurance recordkeeping requirements. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, driver license numbers, dates of birth, or bank account numbers through a web form or unsecured email. Call the office if you need to share that kind of information.
Cookies and tracking technologies
Our website and the quote and contact forms embedded on it use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored in your browser that help the site and forms work properly, remember your form entries, prevent spam, and give us basic information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and the referring site. Our form and CRM vendors may set their own cookies to operate those forms on our behalf. We do not use cookies to sell your information or to build advertising profiles. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site features, including our forms, may not work correctly if you do. Our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
Your choices and California rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, request corrections, ask us to delete information that is not required by law or contract, and opt out of certain uses. To make a request, call or email the office and give us enough information to verify your identity, such as your name, address, and policy or quote details. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
